Hibu will make their best effort to set-up client owned domains to point to their new website
Hibu will need access to the client's domain control panel to be able to make any necessary updates
Hibu will not speak to 3rd-party registrars or hosts on behalf of the client
Hibu does not offer a transfer-in service
Clients will be responsible for maintaining their existing domain registration and renewal
Domain Management
Hibu does not offer a domain management tool at this time
Hibu will not make complex DNS updates to Hibu domains (ex. custom MX records or subdomains)
Hibu Procured Domains
With a Next Gen Website purchase -- Hibu will procure domain with .com, .net, info, .org, .biz, and .info.
The client will be the owner of all newly procured domains
Clients will be expected to validate, via email, their identity for new domain purchases
Hosting
Hibu sites are hosted internally on the industry-leadingAWS.Amazon Cloud
Hibu hosts static files (images, pdfs, docs, etc..) on a Global Content Delivery Network.
Note: Hibu full platform backups are stored in a different physical location every twelve hours. This includes all data, such as images, databases, and other places where content is stored. Additionally, also incorporates mechanisms to restore to any point within the last 48 hours so that if something goes wrong, Hibu can restore to that moment instantly.
SSL / HTTPS
Hibu will obtain an SSL certificate on behalf of all Next Gen domains
The certificate will only the obtained on behalf of the domain associated with the account,
Any additional domains will need to be secured through the client's third-party hosting service
Including BYOD and Hibu procured domains
Release of Hibu procured domains do not include release of SSL certificate
SSL is not associated with or available to older Hibu websites (including Premium, Basic, Legacy, et al)
NextGen and Smat Site are not secure nor PCI compliant nor 128 or 256 SSL encrypted.
