The Engagement Menu widget surfaces a suite of ever present "sticky icons" (aka "floating menu") that represent a variety of call to actions (call now, email now, get directions, etc) on mobile, desktop, and tablet views where applicable.
Engagement Menu can be added any Next Gen website packages by client request
DPS will follow Engagement Menu rules and guidelines
Omniture tags are connected to all Engagement Menu actions.
At this time, conversion actions are recorded yet not available in Dasboard
Engagement Menu Attributes
Each Engagement Menu is made up of actions, labels, and icons
Action
represent the functionality -- make call, make text, get directions, message, email, etc
Labels
are the displayed instruction -- Call Us, Text us, Get Directions, Message Us, eMail Us, etc
Icons
are the visual representation of the action -- phone icon, text icon, pinpoint icon, FB Messenger icon, email icon, etc.
By default placement of desktop and tablet Engagement Menu is middle aligned on right side of screen
Engagement Menu actions are made available as user hovers over each icon.
User then clicks label to trigger desired action.
Placement of mobile Engagement Menu is located at bottom-right of screen as a round, pulsating solid-colored button with a centered white "+" icon
Engagement Menu actions are made available when user clicks button
User then clicks label to trigger desired action.
User then clicks button -- now with an "x" to close Engagement Menu
Desktop, tablet, and mobile Engagement Menu background, icons, on, off, and hover colors are customizable as are fonts colors and style.
Note only one background, icon color and font color, hover states, and style can be implemented -- meaning one can't have red background with white icon for calls and black background with blue icons for everything else.
