General - Smart Site HWP Platform and Permissions

  • Smart Sites are built with the Hibu Website Platform (HWP) 
  • Sites clients may access and edit their website (DIY) using HWP via Dashboard (hibu.com-->Client Login-->Tools-->Manage Website
  • HWP DIY permissions for Smart Sites clients  
    • Edit Site (including adding pages, images, copy, etc)
    • Header HTML
      • The Header HTML feature allows client to add HTML, CSS, or JavaScript to the header <head> section of their site.
    • Site SEO
    • Republish
    • 301 Redirect
    • Blog (if applicable) 
    • Online Store (if applicable
    • Customize 404 page
      • This page is shown when a user visits an invalid URL on the website. Client may customize it to add their own message and redirect site visitors to another page on the site in place of the generic default displayed 404.
    • Access to Hibu Websites Help Center
  • HWP permissions for Hibu employees are specific to defined roles and associated responsibilities and may include access to: 
    • Edit Site (including adding pages, images, copy, etc)    
    • HTML / CSS
    • Header HTML
      • The Header HTML feature allows client to add HTML, CSS, or JavaScript to the header <head> section of their site.
    • Site SEO
    • Publish (which include options to add custom domain)
    • Republish
    •  Site backup
    • Add SSL 
    • Blog (if applicable) 
    • Online Store (if applicable)
    • Customize 404 page
